AW Linear Axes System

Linear axes with belt or ball screw transmission, combinable with other AW products for infinite possibility configurations.

 Our linear systems are able to support the movement of one or more robots on the work axis (Robo-Line series) for Logistic or Machine application tools.

The portal configurations have the possibility of inserting the AwareVu ™ proprietary diagnostic system for real-time verification of the work cycle and the prevention of production blackouts.

Selection criteria

The choice of linear technology to be used depends on the application required.

Belt Axes

Belt axes for various types of applications with heads built from solid to avoid deformations and vibrations over time.

Screw Axes

Screw axes for various types of applications with heads built from solid to avoid deformations and vibrations over time.

ML series

Linear unit with sizes 45, 60, 80, 90, 120, 160 with belt and slide guides. A version with a fixed cantilever carriage with a mobile profile is available for vertical applications, where the arm must be removed during operation.

A further version with mobile carriage on double orthogonal guide suitable for unbalanced loads is added. (Very useful for vertical applications or where the arm must be removed during operation).

HPC or HPV series

Made for applications where the protection of internal mechanical parts, from dust,  is critical.

 Axes are available in six sizes (45, 60, 80, 90, 120 and 160). The translation is  based recirculating ball runner blocks systems  to ensure high mechanical rigidity and low friction.

 Particularly combinable with the new modular systems (SM series) for Pick and Place applications.

HPCC
Series

The HPCC Series has two transposed carriages with opposite movement to satisfy applications where in alignment production or gripping of the component being processed is required.

The units are made in two sizes: 80, 120, both with belt transmission.

 Translation takes is based on high speed recirculating ball runner blocks guides with consequent high mechanical rigidity and low friction.

ProC and ProV series

Based on the HP Series, with the addition of the double guide to give greater rigidity, useful for example for a possible portal configuration. 

In both versions the translation is on guides, the carriage is mounted on two or four runners complete with protection.

Serie
PlusC e PlusV

Designed for high load applications, based on double guide translation inside the profile, the movement can be belt or screw based on velocity or accuracy required. 

Very useful for moving high loads, even vertically, with the possibility of covering bellows to protect the mechanics.

We are pleased to inform you that, following the expert evaluation and summarizing the final results of the agROBOfood Open Call Industrial Challenges, your Project Proposal “HyFlexyBot Flexible Robot “has been selected for funding.

“The proposal was presented with sufficient details. From the technical point of view, a standard application for packaging/palletizing in food industry is proposed using a new cobot based on the top of a mobile unit and integrated on ROS. The main novelty of the proposal is the easy reconfiguration and the cobot itself since it is unique on the market (25kg payload for collaborative robots). The business analysis was sufficiently presented, and the analysis was convincing. The socio-economic aspects were addressed as well. The team is well established and have the necessary expertise.

The proposal describes an autonomous mobile palletization system to be applied in food processing industry with special attention on non-contamination of food. The background is overall well explained. Impact and benefit are comprehensible. The system may be of additional interest, due to the current COVID-19 situation. Problems in the meet processing industry are named. The concept of providing an autonomous mobile platform plus a sophisticated robot arm appears as a good way of working in low structured environment.

The European Union has decided to grant a financial contribution for the implementation of agROBOfood through the Horizon 2020 Programme.
